Ele Hibbert

Early Years Equality and Inclusion Adviser, The Education People


After completing a degree at university, Ele Hibbet spent 6 months working in a school in Argentina and exploring the country. Following that, she completed her PGCE and taught in three schools in three different counties. Ele held a range of leadership roles including SENCo, Head of Foundation, KS1 Manager. She joined KCC Early Years and Childcare Service in 2006 and is currentlyan Early Years Equality and Inclusion Advisor which enables her to use her experienceto help early years settings to support vulnerable children, including those with special educational needs and disabilities to receive the support they need to reach their full potential. Ele has had the pleasure of working with many settings and schools across Kent, mainly Canterbury, Swale, and Thanet districts. She enjoys visiting settings, offering advice, support and training. She has also had the pleasure of working on local projects with settings and schools. Ele's continued professional developement includes I CAN licensee, Accredited SENCo, Coaching and Mentoring.
