Stella Nalini

Family Involvement Lead, The Education People


Stella Nalini is a passionate advocate for family involvement in children's learning. In her current role as Family Involvement Lead, she has been responsible for creating a range of training and staff resources for the early years sector, most prominently the multi-awarded Enhancing Family Involvement in Children's Learning (EFICL) Toolkit and is currently developing EFICL tools for the primary phase. 

Stella's varied career over the past 40 years, began as a State Registered Nurse before moving into the early years field, where she coordinated and facilitated creche facilities across inner-city Lambeth; lectured at Thanet College; achieved a Masters degree in early years; managed a family unit in Ashford before becoming an Early Years Advisor in 2014 for the local authority. Stella was seconded to develop and coordinate a county-wide Parents as partners in Early Learning Project in 2010 and coordinated an Integrated Review for Two Year Olds pilot in 2016 across the district of Thanet.
