The Impact of Employment Law Changes to Schools and Trusts
2024 has been a year that has brought in a number of changes to employment law rules, from changes to the rules governing flexible working requests to changes in holiday pay rules. Following on from the General Election the new Government has begun the process for further bold changes to Employment Law throughout 2024 and beyond. These include day one unfair dismissal rights, ending zero hours contracts, the “right to disconnect” as well as further proposed developments to sick pay, family friendly rights and the new sexual harassment laws. Keeping on top of these changes and what they mean for schools and trusts is crucial to avoid the risk of non-compliance and associated claims.
