Alicia Moyles
With an unwavering commitment to impartial careers education and guidance, Alicia Moyles has shaped programmes that empower students to achieve their full potential. From primary to secondary schools, and those with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), Alicia has spent over 20 years working in education and has revolutionised the approach to careers development within education establishments in Kent and beyond.
As a seasoned careers guidance practitioner and educationist, Alicia’s career includes many school-based roles such as Head of Careers in secondary education. Her expertise, however, extends beyond the classroom, where she has developed teacher training initiatives in careers curriculum management. She is also a strategic trustee for Kent Music, Grow 19 Specials and The Royal National Mission for Deep Sea Fishermen.
Currently Assistant Director for Post 16 Education within a leading national education provider, Alicia is the mastermind behind leading initiatives tackling critical Government objectives like NEET transitions and provision and accountability. Her influence goes beyond local boundaries, especially her collaboration with the Department of Work and Pensions, shaping the DWP Local Supported Employment Universal Support offer, which is soon to be rolled out nationwide; national policies for ways in employment with the Department for Education; and her exemplary work with the British Association of Supported Employment.
With a career spanning private, charity and public sectors, Alicia is uniquely positioned to understand the dynamic landscape of the labour market. She provides a holistic approach that bridges the gap between education providers and the evolving needs of employers, ensuring every student has the opportunity to thrive in an ever-changing world.
