Scott is a qualified teacher with 10 years of senior leadership experience in primary education, including headship during the Covid-19 pandemic. He had a varied career in finance and IT before teaching in a wide range of settings across key stage 1 and 2. As a middle leader, Scott led a range of subjects including science. He is passionate about well-being, inclusion, pastoral support and professional development of school staff. Scott also has specific interests in physical education, relationships education, outdoor learning and music to enrich the wider curriculum.
